School Messenger & Edsby
📢 School Messenger
School Messenger is an automated communication system that keeps families informed by phone, email, and text message. It is used to notify you about:
- Student absences
- Bus cancellations, delays, or route updates
- Important messages or events within the school — (306-332-4343)
- Important messages or events from the school division — (306-949-6397)
📞 When Can I Expect to Be Contacted?
You may receive a phone call, email, or text message on the day your child misses any classes. You can also expect to be contacted whenever the school or the school division has a special announcement.
🎧 Please Listen to the Entire Message
When you receive a phone call, the message will ask you to press a number on your keypad to confirm that you’ve heard it. Pressing this button indicates that someone in your household has received the message.
✅ What Should I Do If I Receive a Message?
- In most cases, messages are for your information only — no action is required.
- If the message is about a student's absence, please call the school to let us know the reason for the absence.
- If you missed a message or have questions, contact the school office for assistance.
💬 Edsby Messaging
Teachers and staff can send private messages to students, parents, and other staff through Edsby. These messages are stored securely and are not deleted, in compliance with K–12 communication regulations.
Administrators have access to message records if needed. To view your inbox, click the envelope icon in the Edsby navigation bar. We recommend turning on message notifications so you’re alerted whenever a new message arrives.
📱 Stay Connected
To ensure you receive all updates, please make sure the school has your current phone number and email address. You can also review your notification preferences in both School Messenger and Edsby to stay up to date on school news and announcements.
