Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

Bert Fox Community High School is a Grade 8–12 school serving approximately 260 students. Nineteen teachers and 10 support staff support our students. At Bert Fox, our core values are simple yet powerful: Be Kind, Be Honest, and Grow Each Day. This message lies at the heart of who we are and guides how we move through each day. We ask everyone — students, staff, and community alike — to keep these values in mind.

Bert Fox offers a wide range of opportunities for students. We provide a variety of courses and multiple pathways toward the ultimate goal of graduation. Each student follows their own unique path, and our goal is to help them reach their individual aspirations. These goals may evolve, and we believe open communication is key to supporting that growth.

We also offer a full array of extracurricular programs — there truly is something for everyone. If students have new ideas, we’re always eager to hear them and ready to explore new opportunities together.

During the second week of school, students participate in hands-on learning at the annual Treaty Four Gathering. Bert Fox students take the lead, facilitating sessions for visiting schools. We are proud of the work our students and staff do to embody the belief that “We are all Treaty People.”

Our mission is to build trusting relationships among students, staff, and our wider community. If you have ideas that could help us continue to grow, please reach out — we are always ready to adapt, learn, and evolve for the benefit of our students.
