About Our School
Our students are served by staff who work hard to support all students with a broad range of curricular and extracurricular learning experiences.
To support all students in their high school learning programs, we offer regular, modified, alternative, and functionally integrated programs. Bert Fox Community High School offers many elective courses to our students.
In an attempt to live the community education philosophy, all classes, whether elective or core, offer students a variety of learning experiences, both inside and outside the classroom. Some of our curricular learning environments include: Treaty Four grounds, Globe Theatre, Agribition, the Science Centre, Regina Leisure Centre, Mission Ridge Ski Hill, Cypress Hills, and local and Northern Saskatchewan lakes and rivers.
The utilization of community resources is also a major part of our extracurricular/afterschool programming. While most of the “traditional” extracurricular activities are offered for all grades/genders at Bert Fox (cross country, golf, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, curling, track & field), there are numerous other options available during noon hours and after school (school skiing, table tennis, archery, yoga, fitness classes, Open Gym Night, Guitar Club, Drama Club, Student Leadership Council, Book Club, Art Club, S.A.D.D. (Students Against Dangerous Decisions), cooking class, literacy bingo, and many, many more!
“Think, Believe, Become” is the Bert Fox motto. We “think” that Bert Fox is a great place to learn, we “believe” in one another, and we work to create a learning environment where everyone will “become” all they can be!!!
